HINTS (Home Instructors Need Team Support) is a homeschool support group that serves the geographical area of south Charlotte and has been in existence since 1985.

HINTS’ goals are to support, educate and encourage homeschoolers. Activities include an annual book fair, an informational tea, library, standardized testing, Children's Theatre Group Registration Rates for the ImaginOn Children's Theatre Shows, and choirs. Many other activities are organized annually by members to meet the needs of our students.

HINTS also has email communication through member emails and an e-loop.

Membership is open to all homeschoolers, though most of its members are Christian.

HINTS' board believes that parents have a constitutional right and a God-given responsibility to provide the best possible education for each of their children. For parents who have been called to home education, this responsibility is made easier with the support of other homeschooling parents.
